I LOVE spring, hands down the most beautiful flowers are available and abundant: lilac, viburnum, peony, ranuncula, poppy, fancy tulips, hyacinth, anemone, sweet pea, garden roses are a few of my favorites. It really is almost every great floral bloom all at once. I wanted to share a few recent ordered from Mother's Day that include some of these beauties.

Corinne and Bing's wedding ceremony was held at Hacienda De Las Flores. Afterwards they hosted about half their guests for a short reception at Hacienda De Las Flores, and later on moved to Hong Kong East Ocean for a traditional Chinese banquet welcoming more than double their guests who attended the ceremony for dinner. Corinne's vision was soft, romantic, and elegant using a mainly soft pink pallet with hints of white, silver, and blue. Her cake was perfect, simple details of fresh flowers, peony and ranunculus, were a perfect accent to a flawless cake made by Carolyn Wong Cakes.

A little if this and a little of that

A look into what's been happening around here the past week. 

Last week was quite different from most weeks, not just a wedding or two, but a graduation, a senior ball, a wedding, and several orders. I find it much more challenging to have several different color pallets to work with all at one time than just one or two. Who'd a thought I used to do this all the time when I had a retail shop in Los Angeles? I'm a little out of practice I guess, but overall the challenge is really fun and gets my creative juices in gear. I love the way everything turned out and had so much fun making everything.

Congratulations David & Courtney! You truly couldn't get a more perfect weather in San Francisco than your wedding day.
David took all the photos for cute table names and Courtney choose the perfect font to complement the design.

The ROYAL wedding of Nobuko & Carlos

Congratulations Nobuko and Carlos, may your life together be filled with lots of love and joy. Nobuko didn't leave out any small details of her intimate wedding of 50 guests.
