Laura & Shashi

I wanted to share the few images I managed to snap of the romantic wedding of Laura and Shashi. The had a traditional Indian ceremony in the morning and a Jewish ceremony and reception in the evening. I was part of the ladder and it was a joy to share a part of their whirlwind day with them. I look forward to sharing more images from their professional photographer as soon as they are available. Congratulations!

Miriam & Peter

Miriam, Peter, and I spent many hours discussing how to make their wedding perfect for them. We met at the venue for an open house all together a couple months ago, and since then have gone over design to perfect the day. In the end I knew it would be AMAZING. I'm really excited about the way it all turned out, it was a beautiful day here in the bay area. These two are so cute together and I look forward to seeing the professional photos. Miriam and Peter thank you both for being so wonderful to work with and sharing a little part of your day with me.

She was simply breathtaking in her wedding gown, the day was crystal clear, and the setting perfection. What more could you ask for?
Congratulations to you both, much love, joy, and happiness.

Shout Out

It can get very overwhelming planning a wedding on your own, not to mention being sure everything stays on schedule on the BIG DAY. I love to recommend other vendors who do their job well and are good people, down to earth, easy to work work, and really go above and beyond, just because they love what they do. Emily Reed at http://www.enjoyeventsplanning.com is just that wrapped up in one lovely sweet package. Don't hesitate to contact her, she is accommodating, and will give you ideas about what she can do for you and your budget.

Ribbons

I love ribbon, beautiful vintage ribbons, soft silky ribbons, lace ribbons, unique colored ribbons, and interesting patterned ribbons. I search high and low for these beauties, and although hard to come by, there is a store that never disapoints. If you live or are visiting the east bay it is a must, Tail Of The Yak, on Ashby just west of College Ave in Berkeley. Now and then I search for specific colors to coordinate with an upcoming wedding, but I stop by every couple of months just to see what's new. From my trip the other day I got these beauties.
