Treasure
Typically I seek out vintage ribbon to coordinate with a specific wedding, but this weekends finds were not for a specific event, merely just to have on hand.
The style of weddings the past year has shifted to casual, vintage, eclectic, and really is just up my alley. I love to make little displays around the house, and have done so as far back as I can remember, I won't date myself yet, but now I'm actually styling with my own props at weddings. This is a dream come true, and fun to see more different ways to use items that are truly treasures to me.
So for no reason what so ever besides that I really loved all these treasures I found today. I bought some random lace for bouquets, cool burlap with a blue detail and several jars and bottles, really special ones that ranged from .25 to 5.00 how can you go wrong. Total less than 25.00, so girls you can have style and beauty without breaking the bank.

April 2009
Maybe strange to start with a 2009 wedding, but it was the 2nd of the year and I happen to love the images. This couple came out from Chicago to get married at the beautiful Harvest Inn in St Helena. It was a perfect day, not too hot. I will have more images to share as soon as I get them from the photographer,hystudio.com. They shot so many great photos of the couple alone it is tough to choose which would be "the photo".
enjoy...
